Lao ministry launches competitiveness and trade project
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has launched the Lao PDR Competitiveness and Trade (LCT) Project, which aims to create an enabling environment for all businesses, including micro, small, and women-owned and managed businesses.
The kick-off meeting for the project on Friday was attended by more than 100 representatives from development partners, related agencies and the private sector.
The project aims to simplify business regulations, facilitate trade, and improve firm-level competitiveness in response to the 8th National Socio-economic Development Plan.
